Mae Lum Yai was giving rides to customers at Chok Chai Camp for five years until Trunks Up foster parents began to support the camp to transitions into an ethical ‘saddle off’ project. Sadly, Lum Yai still carries both the physical and psychological scars of her past.
We are doing everything we can to support her healing and we believe that only the herd can heal each other. Lum Yai has two best friends May Loy Sa and Mae Boon who she is now able to socialize with and help this healing process. She loves exploring the jungle, mud baths and foraging.
