Sopa continues to embrace her peaceful life at Elephant Nature Park, surrounded by her loving herd. Known for her grace and confident nature, Sopa spends her days wandering the sanctuary at her own pace, often seeking out the more serene corners of the park where she can graze and rest without disturbance.
One of the most heartwarming things that has been noticed recently is Sopa’s growing bond with a few of the older females in the herd. These relationships are vital for her emotional well-being, offering her comfort and a sense of belonging that she was deprived of for so many years. It’s a beautiful reminder of how elephants heal not just through physical care but through companionship and trust.
Sopa's days are now filled with simple joys—bathing in the river, dusting herself with clouds of dirt, and relishing the safety and freedom she has found at ENP. Each meal and medical check-up ensures that she remains strong and healthy, and we are so grateful that your support makes this level of care possible.
