Trunks Up supported Elephant Nature Park and Save Elephant Foundation in rescuing seven elephants from a riding camp and providing them with a safe sanctuary home where they can live with dignity and care.
OVERVIEW
In 2020, seven elephants were rescued from a trekking camp where they had spent years giving rides to tourists while enduring harsh and demanding conditions. Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of the Trunks Up community, the funds were raised to make this historic rescue possible, one of the largest single elephant rescues ever undertaken by Elephant Nature Park.
Today, these remarkable elephants, known as the Magnificent Seven, call Elephant Nature Park home. Free from the demands of the tourism industry, they now receive lifelong care, protection, and the opportunity to heal. Surrounded by expansive natural habitat and the companionship of other rescued elephants, they are able to roam, forage, socialize, and express their natural behaviors living with the freedom and dignity they have always deserved.

IMPACT
Through the support of the Trunks Up community, seven elephants were given a second chance at life and now live safely at Elephant Nature Park. This historic rescue became one of ENP’s largest rescue efforts, highlighting what can be achieved through compassion, dedication, and collective action.
