Nong Pon used to work at several places in Mae Rim and Mae Taeng, Chiang Mai including elephant show camps. She gave tourists rides on her back, walking around the camp in monotonous loops all day, every day. She was rescued and brought to Journey to Freedom in 2016. A year later, Nong Pon gave birth to baby girl named Gee Lee. Then, in December 2024, we were thrilled that Nong Pon gave birth to a second healthy baby girl named Luna.
